CricketNearby exists to change that. Our mission is simple: give every aspiring cricketer in India — and especially every parent — a single, trusted place to find verified coaching academies, turfs, and grounds near them. No spam. No unverified listings. No middlemen taking a commission.

The Story Behind CricketNearby
Vishal Yadav, our founder, grew up playing gully cricket in Mumbai. When his son turned seven and showed a passion for the game, Vishal went searching for a serious coaching academy. What he found was a mess — outdated listings, disconnected phone numbers, academies that no longer existed, and coaches who promised the world but delivered nothing.
After six months of manual research across 50+ cities while building his network of cricket enthusiasts, Vishal realised he wasn't alone. Every parent had the same story. So he decided to build the solution himself.
CricketNearby launched in 2024 with just 10 verified listings in Mumbai. Today, we cover 50+ cities and are growing every week. We are a small, passionate team — and we take every listing, every review, and every parent's trust very seriously.
